Terms of Service

JJ-JobHunter provides an AI-powered job application platform that helps users create CVs, generate cover letters, search job listings, and manage job applications. The service is provided on a subscription basis with various plan tiers.

You must be at least 16 years old to use JJ-JobHunter. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others. Notify us immediately at support@jj-jobhunter.de if you suspect unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or generating spam applications.

Subscriptions are billed monthly via PayPal. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the applicable fee each billing period.

• Tester: €5.90/month — 2 applications/day, 20/month
• Job Seeker: €14.90/month — 4 applications/day, 60/month
• Premium: €29.90/month — 8 applications/day, 180/month

Application credits reset monthly on your billing date. Unused credits do not carry over. Top-up credits do carry over until used.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then. No partial refunds are issued for the remaining period unless required by applicable law (see Section 7).

You agree not to use JJ-JobHunter to:

• Generate fraudulent applications or misrepresent your qualifications.
• Send unsolicited bulk emails or spam.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our AI models or job data.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Circumvent subscription limits through multiple accounts.

Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving any reason (cooling-off period).

Digital services exception: If you have already used the service (e.g., generated a CV or submitted an application) during the cooling-off period, you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost upon such use.

To exercise withdrawal before any use, contact support@jj-jobhunter.de with your name, email, and subscription date. A full refund will be processed within 14 days. See our full Refund Policy for details.

CVs, cover letters, and job match analyses are generated by AI. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before use. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Do not submit AI-generated content without your own review.

The Gmail integration requires OAuth authorisation. We request send-only permission and do not read, store, or process the content of your inbox. You may revoke access at any time from Settings → Integrations or from your Google Account security settings.

You retain ownership of content you input (CV data, work history, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the service. We retain all rights to our platform, design, and software.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JJ-JobHunter is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including failed job applications, lost opportunities, or errors in AI-generated content. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ceases and your data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date.
