Refund Policy

Summary

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Once you have used the service (generated a CV, submitted an application), the withdrawal right is lost. Top-ups are non-refundable once credits are used.

EU Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days of your initial subscription purchase, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day of purchase. To exercise your right, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement before the 14-day period expires.

Important — Digital Service Exception

By proceeding with your subscription and using any feature of JJ-JobHunter (generating a CV, submitting an application, fetching job listings), you expressly request the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been performed.

How to Request a Withdrawal

To request withdrawal before using the service, contact us at:

Include: your name, email address, subscription date, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.

We will acknowledge your request immediately and process any applicable refund within 14 calendar days, using the same payment method as your original transaction.

Monthly Renewals

Monthly subscription renewals are not eligible for refund after the renewal date, as you will have had access to the service from the start of that billing period. You can cancel at any time to prevent future renewals — access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Top-Up Credits

Top-up credits (one-time purchases of additional application credits) are non-refundable once purchased, as they constitute immediately available digital content. Unused credits remain in your account until used or until your account is deleted.

Exceptional Circumstances

We may grant refunds in exceptional circumstances at our discretion — for example, if a technical failure on our part prevented you from using the service for more than 72 consecutive hours during a billing period. Contact us at support@jj-jobhunter.de with details.

Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law or the laws of your country of residence. You may also contact your national consumer protection authority if you have unresolved concerns.
