Before you install anything: make your data worth filling with

Whichever extension you choose, its output is only as good as the profile it fills from — and this is where most autofill frustration actually comes from. Three habits fix nearly all of it.

First, canonicalise your history once. Write out every employer, exact job title, start and end month, and location in one place, and resolve the ambiguities now — the freelance gap, the acquisition that renamed your employer, the role you held under two titles.
